Bargin Hunt

Word is that some lucrative contracts are going on the market today, your guild representative wishes to head out to secure some of them.

There should be an Underhive Market streching across the board, roughly 24" wide.

Place one market stall in the centre of the board then another 1 12" away. So you should have 3 market stalls total along the centre line. These market stalls are the Bargin Stalls

Only a select number of stalls today are willing to make a deal, these are the Bargin Stalls. Your gang must approach these stalls and see if they can make a deal.

Fighters within 1" of a Bargin Stall may attempt to Broker a Contract

Broker a Contact (Double): Roll a D6 and apply the following result:

Apply the following modifications to the roll

  • The Fighter is the Guild Representative: +2
  • The Fighter is currently Wanted: -1
  • The Fighter has the Savvy Trader or Connected skill: +1
D6Result
1Insulted: The Trader is unwilling to haggle with you further for now. This stall is unavailble to your gang until the next round.
2-5Haggling: The Trader is unwilling to sign a contract with your fighter for now.
6+Deal!: The Trader signs a luctrative contract with your gang, earn 1 Victory Point.

Additionally is the roll is a natural 6, the trader has signed off on all their available contracts. This Stall is now unavailable to all gangs for the rest of the battle.


Ending the Battle

The game ends when one or more of the following conditions are met in the End Phase

  • There is only one gang remaining on the battlefield

  • Any gang has 6 or more Victory Points

  • All Bargin Stalls have been emptied out.

Victory

The Gang with the most victory points is the winner. Otherwise it's a draw.

Additionally, each gang earns D3x10 credits per Victory point earned.

Experience

Additionally, any fighter that earns at least 1 Victory Point earns D3 Exp

Reputation

Standard

Additionally, any gang that scores 5 or more Victory Points earns D3 Rep.

Disappointed
At the end of the game, any gang that didn’t score at least one Victory Point will suffer lasting injury rolls on D3 random fighters that took part in the battle and didn’t go out of action. This represents your house/patron punishing them for coming back empty handed.
