Rise and Grind

With the current state of affairs, there's not enough food to go around. There's plenty of corpses though.

Setup

Battle Type

Sector Mechanicus

Battlefield

3x3 4x4

Standard 3x3 or 4x4. Setup a large grinder in the centre of the board.

Deployment

Standard

After deployment, place 4 Body Bags per Player, each Bodybag should be 6" apart from any other Bodybag.

Battle

Body Bags

Body Bags are moved in the same manner as a loot casket. However, due to their heavy nature models with the fly special rule, lose that ability while carrying a Bodybag.

Grinding it out

Any Body Bags that go into the grinder during your activation will earn that player Victory Points depending on how far into the Grinder it is. Body Bags that are thrown in at the edge earn 1 Victory Point, past the first Grinding Wheel earns 2 Victory Points, and between the 2 central Grinders earns 3 Victory Points. Also Body Bags are heavy so may only be dropped into the Grinder from above, however, if the fighter has the Hurl Skill, they may throw Body Bags into the grinder from below, However, this always earns 1 Victory Point when done this way.

Meat is Meat

Any Fighters that end up going into the grinder earn the Player who's activation it is 1 Victory Point.

Ending the Battle

The game ends when one or more of the following conditions are met in the End Phase

  • There is only one gang remaining on the battlefield

  • There are no Body Bags left on the battlefield

Victory

The gang with the most victory points at the end of the game is the victor.

Rewards

Domebound

The winner gets first pick of the reward cards.

Standard rewards for winning a: 1 free doc visit (that can’t fail), you may bank this for later as well. You earn no Credits, or Rep. Your fighters gain exp as usual.

Disappointed

At the end of the game, any gang that didn’t score at least one Victory Point will suffer lasting injury rolls on D3 random fighters that took part in the battle and didn’t go out of action. This represents your house/patron punishing them for coming back empty handed.
