Secundemolition Man

One Gang is attempting to gas bomb another Gang's turf. Don’t ask about the three seashells either.

Battlefield

3x3 Zone Mortalis style, walls go up to the ceiling. Should be a clear area in the middle with a bomb in the centre of the board, the central tile should have 4 entrances. Use lots of walls and doors, The shortest path should be harder such as locked doors, Bazone hazards, Gas filled sections, etc.

Crews

Random (5 + (D3) (Roll once for both players))

Deployment

Defender deploys on the central tile. (12x12 area)
Attacker deploys 4 inches from any corner of the board.


Battle

Someone Set Us Up The Bomb

The countdown has begun and the bomb may release its toxic payload. At the end of round 4 onwards roll a D6, on a 6+ it starts to release its toxic gas. Each time you roll reduce the target number by 1.

Any fighter within 1” of the bomb may attempt to defuse it by taking the Defuse (double) action.

As soon as the bomb starts to release gas, any fighter on the board within 0” of the bomb goes out of action in the end phase of the round. In each subsequent round, increase this number by 6 (6”, 12”, 18”, 24” etc.)

Defuse (double): Fighter makes an intelligence check with a +1 modifier for each other friendly fighter within 1”. If successful the bomb is defused.

Fleeing the Battle

Any fighter within 1” of the battlefield edge in the end phase may choose to flee the battlefield. These fighters count towards bottle checks.

This is the only way fighters may flee the battlefield, any fighters that flee during bottle checks instead move 2D6” towards the nearest edge, if this takes them within 1” of the edge they are then removed from the board as usual.


Ending the Battle

The game ends when one or more of the following conditions are met in the End Phase

  • There is only one gang remaining on the battlefield

  • The bomb has been defused

Victory

If the bomb is defused, the attackers are the winner. If the bomb explodes and at least 1 of the defenders gang successfully escapes the board the defender is the winner. Otherwise the game is a draw.


Rewards

Domebound

The winner gets first pick of the reward cards.

Standard rewards for winning a: 1 free doc visit (that can’t fail), you may bank this for later as well. You earn no Credits, or Rep. Your fighters gain exp as usual.
