Gunk Harvest

Gunk is in scarce supply on the station, and it's time to go out and harvest some.

Deployment

Shuttle Deployment - all fighters must be place inside the shuttle corridor.

Limited Infiltrate - Fighters with infiltrate must be deployed inside the shuttle, but may make 2 free moves before rolling for priority on the first turn.

Shuttle Deployment

Each Player places a Shuttle Tile touching any Compartment along their table edge as part of battlefield setup, this is their deployment zone.

Gunk Vat

Place the Gunk Vat in the middle of a compartments as close to the cenre of the battlefield as possible.


Battle

Gunk Collection

The objective is to collect the Gunk and load it back onto your shuttle for extraction.

Fighters (except pets) within 1” of the Gunk Vat and that aren't already carrying gunk, may perform a Collect Gunk (basic) action.

Collect Gunk (basic): This Fighter is now carrying Gunk which remains until they unload it into the shuttle, or if they become pinned. If pinned, this fighter gains the Gunked condition

Any Fighter carrying Gunk may not move more than 8" during their activation, otherwise they'd risk spilling the Gunk.

Any fighter that unloads gunk into their shuttle earns that gang 1 VP

Spyre Hunter Objective

Spyre Hunting Parties always have this alternative objective: they must eliminate the enemy gang before Six loads of gunk have been loaded onto the shuttle.

Third Player Modifier

Another gang would rather taint the gunk supply than collect it themselves.

If a third player joins the battle, the following modifications are made:

  • Modify the first two players’ crew size to Custom (6)
  • The third player has a crew size of Custom (5)
  • Place a second Gunk Tank, place one on the left centre of the battlefield and the other on the right.
  • The third player deploys their entire gang after all other fighters (except Infiltrators)
    • All fighters must be within 3" of the centre of the battlefield (or as close as possible)
Tainting the Gubk

The objective of the third player is to taint both vats of Gunk.

Standing and Active Fighters (except pets) within 1” of a Gunk Vat may perform a Taint (double) action.

Taint (double): This Gunk Vat is now considered to be tainted, any fighters attempting to Collect Gunk from a Tainted Gunk Vat must roll a 4+ to succeed

Once both Vats have been tainted the third players Fighters may freely leave the battlefield during the End Phase


Ending the Battle

The game ends when one or more of the following conditions are met in the End Phase

  • There is only one gang remaining on the battlefield
  • One gang has loaded Six loads of Gunk onto their shuttle
Tabled Condition

Only if no Spyre Objective in play

If only one gang remains on the battlefield, move all remaining fighters on the board earn 1 VP.

Victory

The gang with the most Victory Points is the winner.

If the third player has tainted both Gunk Vats they are also a winner.

The winner gains 1D3x10 + 30 Credits Otherwise every other gang earns 1D6 x 10 Credits

Experience

Any Fighter that loads Gunk onto their shuttle earns 1 XP

Any Fighter that taints a Gunk Vat earns D3 XP

Gangs earn D3 Rep if they have 7 or more VP's
