Shipment Raid

There's some good loot to be had in the local sector. We just need to take it from the locals and load it onto our shuttle.

Setup

Battle Type

Eye of Selene

Battlefield

Eye of Selene

Crews

Hybrid (6+4)

Deployment

Shuttle Deployment - all fighters must be placed inside the shuttle tile.

Limited Infiltrate - Fighters with infiltrate must be deployed inside the shuttle, but may make 2 free moves before rolling for priority on the first turn.

Shuttle Deployment

Each Player places a Shuttle Tile touching any Compartment along their table edge as part of battlefield setup. This is their deployment zone.

Shipment Containers
  • After deployment, players alternate placing 4 Shipment Containers each.
    • Shipment Containers must be placed in your opponent's side of the table.
    • Shipment Containers must be at least 3" from any other Shipment Container.

Then randomly pick a Shipment Container, and place another Shipment Container Next to it.

Battle

Shipment Extraction

The objective is to collect the Shipment Containers and load them back onto your shuttle for extraction.

Shipment Containers are moved in the same manner as loot caskets, however, they cannot be opened or otherwise interacted with.

Longvoidmen

The first time a fighter from either gang enters a section, place D3 Hive Scum randomly inside.

Hive Scum are armed with stub pistols, mauls, and Void Suits

Hive Scum act in the same manner as roaming horrors.

Spyre Hunter Objective

Spyre Hunting Parties always have this alternative objective: they must eliminate the enemy gang before four of the containers have been loaded onto the shuttle.

Hive Scum never target Spyre Hunter gangs, however, they don't grant any exp, kill count etc. There's no sport in killing dock workers.

Third Player Modifier

Another gang has been hired by the local merchants. They must attempt to stop the shipment from being pilfered by the opposing gangs.

If a third player joins the battle, the following modifications are made:

  • Modify the first two players’ crew size to Custom (6)
  • The third player has a crew size of Custom (4)
  • The third player controls all the Hive Scum as if they were part of their own gang.
  • The third player deploys their entire gang after all other fighters (except Infiltrators)
    • All fighters must be within 3" of the centre line
Mag locking

The objective of the third player is to activate enough of the mag locks on the Shipment Containers so that they earn their fee.

In each end phase, if there are Shipment Containers within 1" of their gang fighters (not Scum). One of those Shipment Containers may be removed from the battle, they are considered to be secured.

Ending the Battle

The game ends when one or more of the following conditions are met in the End Phase

  • There is only one gang remaining on the battlefield
  • All Shipment Containers are on a Shuttle, or been Secured.
Tabled Condition

Only if no Spyre Objective in play

If only one gang remains on the battlefield, move all Shipment Containers not already on a shuttle onto their shuttle.

Victory

The gang with the most Shipment Containers on their Shuttle is the winner.

If the third player has secured 4 or more Shipment Containers they are also a winner.
