Terminal Deployment

Alternate placing 6 terminals, with the following restrictions:

  • You cannot place a terminal in your deployment zone’s compartment.
  • Terminals must be placed in compartments.
  • Terminals must be split as equally as possible amongst the compartments.
  • Terminals must be placed at least 3" away from any other terminal.

Battle

Terminal Control

The objective is to control more terminals than your opponent when the battle ends.

Vox Hacking

Fighters (except pets) within 1" of a terminal can either perform a Hack (Basic) action or a H@ck! (Double) action.

Hack (Basic): The fighter makes an Intelligence check with a -2 modifier. If successful, control changes to their gang.

H@ck! (Double): The fighter makes an Intelligence check with a +2 modifier. If successful, control changes to their gang.

Spyre Hunter Objective

Spyre Hunting Parties always have this alternative objective: they must eliminate the enemy gang before four of the terminals have been captured.

Third Player Modifier

Another gang has gotten in between the two warring factions. They must attempt to finish stripping the area for scrap, making a hasty retreat before the real shooting starts.

If a third player joins the battle, the following modifications are made:

  • Modify the first two players’ crew size to Custom (7)
  • The third player has a crew size of Custom (5)
  • The third player deploys their entire gang after all other fighters (except Infiltrators)
    • All fighters must be within 3" of the centre line
Vox Stripping

The third player has an alternative objective: they must escape the battlefield with two or more fighters carrying scrap.

The third players Fighters cannot attempt to hack a terminal

Fighters gain scrap in the following way:

Fighters (except pets) that aren’t already carrying scrap and are within 1" of a non-stripped terminal can perform a Strip (Basic) action.

Strip (Basic): The fighter makes an Intelligence or Strength check. If successful, the terminal becomes Stripped, and the fighter is now carrying scrap.

Stripped Terminals: Fighters attempting to Hack a terminal suffer a -4 modifier. Fighters H@cking a terminal do not gain the +2 modifier.

Fleeing with Scrap: Fighters may leave the battlefield during the End Phase if they are within another gang’s deployment zone.

Ending the Battle

The game ends when one or more of the following conditions are met during the End Phase:

  • There is only one gang remaining on the battlefield
  • There are no neutral terminals remaining

Victory

The gang with the most controlled terminals is the winner. (Unless their opponent is a Spyre Hunting gang)

If the third player manages to escape with two or more fighters carrying scrap, they are also a winner.

Tabled Condition

Only if no Spyre Objective in play

If only one gang remains on the battlefield, that gain is considered in control of all neutral terminals.
