Enthralled to the Machine God

Life in the underhive depends on the will of the Machine God. Air is filtered, water is processed, and even survival is mediated through ancient systems beyond understanding. Some gangs do more than rely on these systems, they worship them.

Changelog
  • This Exile Path has been moved to its own dedicated page.
  • The path has been reworked to better align with the newer Heretek Cabal augmentation style.
  • Characteristic wording has been clarified to match Necromunda’s mental-stat logic:
    • the Leader’s Intelligence is improved by 2
    • the rest of the gang’s Intelligence is worsened by 2
    • likewise for the associated Cool changes
  • Added clearer augmentation limits:
    • Leaders and Champions may take a limited number of Bionics without needing an injury
    • other fighters have a lower cap
  • The cost increase for elective augmentation has been clarified to work like an Advance.

Overview

An Enthralled to the Machine God gang replaces flesh with steel, gaining access to enhanced bionics and technical expertise.

However, this comes at the cost of individuality, autonomy, and humanity.

Fate Worse Than Death

The gang’s Leader has undergone invasive augmentation.

  • The Leader worsens their Cool by 2
  • The Leader improves their Intelligence by 2

Cybernetic Gentling

The rest of the gang is reshaped into compliant servants.

  • All other fighters improve their Cool by 2
  • All other fighters worsen their Intelligence by 2

Technical Tutoring

The Machine Cult prioritises knowledge and function over instinct.

  • Savant skills become Primary for all fighters in the gang

Augmented Arsenal

The gang gains access to advanced augmentation.

  • All Bionics are added to the gang’s House Equipment List

The Flesh is Weak

  • Fighters may purchase and install Bionics even if they do not have a Lasting Injury

  • If a Bionic is installed without replacing an injury:

    • The fighter’s credit value increases as if they had gained an Advance
  • The Leader gains one Bionic for free at gang creation

Augmentation Limits

Not all bodies can withstand extensive augmentation.

  • Leaders and Champions may be equipped with up to 2 Bionics without requiring a pre-existing injury
  • Other fighters may be equipped with 1 Bionic in this way

From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh… it disgusted me.
