The stale air of the underhive doesn’t seem so bad when it’s rushing past at full throttle. Life as a raider is fast, loud, and brutally short — but for those who live it, there’s nothing else worth doing.

- Mounted gang identity has been clarified and reinforced:
- fighters must remain mounted
- fighters that cannot function mounted are more clearly restricted
- The offensive bonus on the charge has been reworked:
- mounted fighters now gain +1 Strength for every full 3" moved during a Charge
- this makes impact damage scale with speed
- Added rules for bringing mounts into Zone Mortalis battles:
- mounted movement in cramped environments now carries a risk of losing control
- when moving in this way, fighters can become Pinned and Prone on a failed roll
- This makes the path playable in tighter environments, but with an appropriate drawback.
Overview
A Road Raiders gang is built entirely around speed and mobility, relying on mounts to outmanoeuvre and overwhelm their enemies.
My Ride Is My Life
All fighters in the gang are permanently mounted.
- All fighters must be equipped with a Mount unless they have a movement value of 7, or are equipped with a form of Jump Booster
- Fighters are considered Mounted at all times, regardless of scenario restrictions
Claustrophobic Riders
Road Raiders are accustomed to open ground, not the tight confines of the underhive.
- Mounted fighters may be used in Zone Mortalis battles.
- However, before resolving any Move or Charge action, roll a D6.
- On a 1, the fighter becomes Pinned.
Restrictions
- Fighters that cannot be mounted (such as most Brutes) may not be included in the gang
- A fighter may only be included if they have access to a Mount or can be equipped with one
If It’s Got Wheels…
The gang specialises in maintaining and modifying their rides.
- All Mounts purchased by this gang cost 30 credits less (to a minimum of 10 credits)

Even improvised mounts are embraced.
- Ridge Walkers are added to the Equipment List for Cawdor Leaders and Champions
- They cost 40 credits (discount already applied)
High-Speed Impact
Momentum turns even light fighters into deadly weapons.
- When a Mounted fighter makes a Charge action, calculate the total distance moved during that Charge.
- For every full 3" moved, they gain +1 Strength for the first Fight action made during that activation.
