Romeo and Juliet
Star-crossed lovers, unlikely allies, or bitter rivals bound by circumstance — two leaders from opposing Houses have abandoned their kin to fight side by side. Whatever their story, they now walk a dangerous path, hunted by both sides yet strengthened by their unity.
- This Exile Path has been moved to its own dedicated page.
- The rules for operating as a two-House gang have been clarified.
- Exile Hive Scum integration has been reworked:
- you now choose which House an Exile Hive Scum uses for equipment access
- that fighter must then integrate with that same House when they advance
- This makes House allegiance for Exile Hive Scum more explicit and prevents dual-access ambiguity.
Overview
A Romeo and Juliet gang represents two Houses forced into uneasy cooperation under a shared cause.
At gang creation, select two different House Gangs.
This Exiled Gang is treated as a single gang for all campaign purposes.
Two Souls Together
This gang begins with two Leaders, one from each chosen House.
- Both fighters are treated as Leaders for all rules and campaign purposes.
- Both must be included when the gang is created.
- Both leaders must die before another is promoted from the ranks.
Shared Resources
The two Leaders maintain access to both Houses’ wargear.
- Each Leader may purchase equipment from either House Leader Equipment List.
- During a campaign, both Leaders may be given additional equipment from either list.
Dual Allegiance
Both Leaders count as members of both Houses for the purposes of:
- House-specific rules
- Skills and abilities
- Effects that reference House affiliation
Torn Apart by the World
The rest of the gang is drawn from both Houses, but resources are limited.
- Fighters may be recruited from either House roster.
- The gang must still obey all Exiled Gang Composition Limits.
Shared Limits
These limits apply across both Houses combined:
- Only 0–2 Prospects total, not per House
- Only 0–1 Super Champion total, not per House
- Only 0–1 Gang-specific Hanger-on/Brute total
Fractured Loyalties
While the Leaders stand united, the rest of the gang is far less stable.
- Fighters only benefit from their own House rules, not both.
- Effects that target a specific House only affect fighters of that House.
Exile Hive Scum Integration
Exile Hive Scum in this gang begin play loosely aligned to one of the two Houses, reflecting who they have attached themselves to.
- When an Exile Hive Scum is recruited, choose one of the two Houses.
- They may immediately purchase equipment from the Ganger Equipment List of that House (subject to normal restrictions).
Outsiders
Despite this allegiance, Exile Hive Scum are still outsiders and lack proper training.
- They gain none of their chosen House’s special rules or benefits until they have advanced at least once.
- Once they have advanced, they are considered fully integrated and gain the benefits of that House as normal.
This choice is permanent and may not be changed.
